About Me.

As a Communication for Development student with a minor in Sustainable Development & a range of diverse experiences in multimedia storytelling, content creation, advocacy and social impact campaigns, I'm very passionate about the use of effective communication and community engagement strategies to drive meaningful social & societal change.

My aim is to significantly contribute in deeply impactful projects focusing on women’s rights & the upliftment marginalized communities in Bangladesh through strategic communication, policy advocacy, and grassroots mobilization

Introduction

My time at the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh taught me how to use communication to create practical, positive change. I chose Communication for Development as my major and Sustainable Development Studies as my minor because both align with my goal to work in the humanitarian field.

From the start, I wanted to see how communication can raise awareness, inspire advocacy, and shift behaviour—especially for under-served communities. The C4D courses were hands-on. I learned to design campaigns, build simple media toolkits, analyse audiences, and include community voices at every stage. I saw the power of clear stories, visuals, and local languages to inform, motivate, and respect people’s realities.

Sustainable Development widened my lens. It showed how issues like climate change, poverty, and gender inequality are linked, and why progress must balance people’s needs with the health of the planet. I practiced looking at problems from multiple angles and using evidence to plan solutions that are fair, practical, and sustainable.

Putting these strands together gave me a fuller view of what lasting impact looks like. Real change starts by listening first, then co-creating messages and actions with the people most affected. This journey has been more than coursework—it has shaped how I think, collaborate, and measure results. I leave ULAB with the mindset of an effective communicator: someone who connects across differences, works with communities, and helps turn shared goals into visible, measurable outcomes.
